I was also tired of shakes but for my breakfast every morning I still try to have one...kick it up and try something different with them:

Soya Milk, protein powder, 1/4 banana, 1tsp low fat instant pudding , 1 tsp peanut butter.

substitute the .B with Nutella.  I have also added sugar free jam with the P.B.

I also had tuna. egg, chicken wraps (lettuce)

Good Luck

I'm a big fan of chili! My doc even recommended a stop at Wendy's for chili! Other things to try: ricotta bake (from theworldaccordingtoeggface.com), scrambled eggs with cheese, egg salad, tuna salad, refried beans with salsa and Greek yogurt and cheese, hummus (yum). Have fun and experiment!

Thank you all for your thoughts.

I have tried the unflavored protein powders. However it still has a taste. It does add a taste to soups, so I'm not a fan.  I'm off to the store today to get  a few things.

I read on OH about Foster Farms turkey mini meatballs that have 18 g of protein for 3 meatballs.  WOW  Hope I can find them.

Still stuggling to remember to take all my vitamins.  i joke about making a spread sheet to use.  I was joking at first. But I think Im going to do it today.

As for the ladies who have not had surgery yet...take a BIG breath.
Yes it is a big step and major surgery.  Remember that the first few weeks will be hard.  The first week was very hard for me.  I'm feeling better now.  And looking to the future..

Pls feeling free to add me as a friend if you like.  I will be happy to help you thru.  We are all here tp help each other.
