I HATE eating out for the first time in my life..who knew!?!  I went to Outback on Sunday and ordered the coconut shrimp.  I ate 2 of the shrimp and almost had a national incident...OK it only mattered to me, but being stuffed and not knowing what to do with the rest of the time while others ate was FRUSTRATING.   I played Angry Birds on my phone. Boy was I an ANGRY BIRD!!Go to fullsize image

Lol @Fay... Did you ever think you'd be mad because you had leftovers? I totally get what you're saying though. My friend wants to take me to lunch for my bday on Thursday... I'm like, really? Wish I could convince him that it would be more fun for me to hit a metro park or the bike trail!! Hope you brought the rest of those shrimp home! . ...and I LOVE Angry Birds!

I have a tall, thin 15 year old son who LOVES my sleeve and the leftovers it brings.  My other source of frustration ...  I love him to death but

I hate sitting there waiting for everyone to finish eating. It's annoying and grosses me out when I'm stuffed.

I've been to outback a couple of times since surgery. it does get easier the further out you get. I order the grilled shrimp appetizer and can eat almost all of it and I just eat very slowly. I understand the frustration though :)

I definitely agree.  What I have found out though, is that it can be just as uncomfortable for the person with the regular-sized stomach.  My husband feels the need to shovel his food down even faster so I don't have to sit and wait as long.  That's not healthy for him and it is really disgusting to see.  I have started sharing an entree with him.  This cuts down on our food costs and provides me with an amount of food I can handle.  So far, it's working out.  This is still a problem when we want something different, though...

I hate the waiting part of it too.  Then they keep stuffing there faces and then ask the waiter for the dessert menu.  YUCK!!!  And it's not like we can drink our water and wait either.  Angry Birds it is...LOL

I went to Outback and ordered the wood fire Mahi-Mahi on the spring dinner with no rice and extra vegies. The entree calorie with the rice as it was, was 600 cal. I ate 1/3 of the fish, and one carrot spear, one spear of brocolli, one pea pod ! I ate SLOWLY and enjoyed the evening with family. I had 2 spoonfulls of my daughter's ice cream, and was satisfied. I then had 2 great lunches off that dinner the next two days !!!
