for those over 300 lbs..inspiration pics

I don't post as often anymore, but I do get on here and read everyday.  I posted a face shot yesterday and got a few emails from people who were happy to see someone with my starting weight posting and sharing pics.  So I thought I'd share a few more..to help those who are new and wondering if they can lose the weight if they are a 'heavyweight'.

YOU CAN DO IT! It's up to you..this year has been life changing for me.  I started at 354 lbs and a size 32 jean.  Today, just over 12 mths postop I am 214 lbs and wearing a size 16.  I can do so much more that I couldn't do just a year ago.  I feel like a brand new person.  My family already finds it hard to believe I was ever as heavy as my before pics.  I guess we've all gotten used to the  new me.

Here i am this morning...and my before pic from last April 2010

LOOK..i can sit on the floor..indian style!! LOL

LOOK..i can cross my legs..I do it all the time now..love it!!

I am still losing weight at one year postop. I have lost another 6 lbs in the last month, and cannot wait to get below 200 and to my goal..and beyond!

Don't let anyone tell you that the sleeve alone will NOT get you to goal.  It can and will get you there if you follow the rules/guidelines that your surgeon and nutritionist set up for you.

I hope this helps to inspire someone ...

I love that you're showing sitting on the floor Indian style and that you're sitting w/ legs crossed.

Very cool!!!

I love it!  Great job.  Your pic's were some of my inspiration for doing surgery.  Because I was afraid that I wouldn't lose, etc.

Let me ask you a personal question, and if you dont want to answer I understand.  How is your skin?  That is my biggest concern.

Thanks again for sharing your pic's!

I never mind answering any questions.  My skin on my arms (bat wings) bothers me most.  They are really bad.  I would love to wear tank tops and sleeveless dresses..but it won't be happening unless I can get plastics down the road.

My upper thighs are pretty bad too.  Of course the boobs look like deflated balloons..but at least my bra holds the girls up..lol  Stomach isn't too terrible..

And I'm happy I could help inspire you

You look fabulous!!!! Inspiring it is!! I know that there are quite a few heavyweights that have lost but your right it is always good to be reminded that we can do this!! I'm looking forward to being under 300 for my first goal and then .....many future small goals but I know eventually I'll get there although there are days you wi**** would all disappear NOW! Thanks for remindning me that I too can do this!!
