I can't believe that I am actually sleeved! Can't say there wasn't any pain, but I'm getting better every day.  Got to know the meaning of esophageal spasms real personal and close up like.  The thing I'm most upset about is how hungry I am!  I was in the hospital dreaming of chicken nuggets & Hershey chocolate drops! But I'm sticking to my1-3 oz. liquid diet every hour.  Hope all is well with my fellow sleevers of this week.  Dozing off now

Yeah sweetie, I'm so happy for you,  congratulations,   remember to walk, sip, rest and repeat.   Enjoy the new and improved you and be very good to yourself this first month.  I never lost my hunger either, which was a disapointment,  but its nothing like it was pre op.   You'll do great  :o) jeani

Ya, I got close and personal with esoughageal spasms too. Not fun!. The doctor prescribed reglan, but heard that they are trying to pull it off the market. Good luck and try not to introduce too much to your tummy too soon. Jess

Good job sticking to your liquids and getting rest.  I hope it's all easier and easier from here on out.

yes, I had alot of esophageal spasms, and they stayed with me for some weeks, (can't remember now exactly how long,) but all is well now. I also was hungry at first, but now I hardly ever think about food. I just try to remember the rules we learned about eating, and stick to those as much as possible.
I can truly say that I can eat anything and everything that I want, and I still lose weight. That is maintainence though, and it is everything that I hoped it would be.
When I really work at it, and concentrate, I can maintain my weight at the current level for a period of time. If I get sidetracked or too busy though, I always lose more weight, but very slowly.
Love my sleeve.

Wishing you all the best, Carol
