Plastics... How soon is too soon?
Well, I'm 7 months from my surgery date and am close enough to my goal that I'm getting my boobs done next week. They've gone from a DD to a B, which I'm not liking at all.
The doctor said that as long as I'm within 10 lbs from my goal, I am fine to get my boobs done. I'm at 129 now and don't want to go (much) below 120, so I figured "what the heck".
I could prob use a tummy tuck too, but am hoping that will tighten up on its own once I start exercising.
Good luck with your surgery.

Hi - I got my tummy tuck and breast lift 3 weeks ago when I was 14 months out from my VSG and having lost 135lbs.
My surgeon said that anything above 5kgs (11lbs) would make a difference to the final result. I set my plastics goal as a max of 10lbs above my goal and met this target. Since surgery I have lost 10lbs so am now 5lbs away from my revised lower goal (which hits the BMI chart of normal - however I'm not a fan of BMI as it doesn't take into account body composition - I'm very muscular and have 22% body fat so this is a better measure for me.
I'm very pleased with my results - see my blog for info and some pics.
I have another surgery in 4 weeks time for thigh and arm lift (I'm expecting to lose a bit more weight with the surgery and skin removal) and then as far as I'm concerned I'm done with losing and will focus on maintaining.
I upped my protein to 150g per day in the month before surgery and whilst healing and this is really paying off.
Good Luck

Not sure, but great post. I definatley would do a tummy tuck, i hate my tummy always have and can't wait to not have a fold of skin. I am guessing for me I would have to weigh closer to 150-140 before I should consider it....I remember 155 in college and I probably should lose 10-20lbs then ....uhg, one of the many burdens we have had from obesity!
