Syntrax, Nectar or Bariatric Advantage???
Totally diff texture, I'd say try both for some variety. Nectar is a drink like beverage- watery and 100 cals 23g protein and no carb. I love the lemon iced tea- tastes like lemon iced tea! It's thin and not sickly sweet. The only Syntrax Nectars I did not like were the "Sweets"..
BA to me is a shake, sweet for my tastes, but on occasion- it's nice. Best advice, get sample packs from many places.. Netrition has a protein sample pack. Sublimate's FAQ's post- (do a quick search) tells you who to contact to get other sample packs including one from Syntrax. I ended up purchasing more Nectar packs and a couple containers of Nectar Unflavored to add to milk, soups, teas etc..

I took sublimate's advise and ordered the Nectar (Syntrax) variety pack from Netrition.com. Had my first one today. It was strawberry/kiwi. Haven't tried Bariatric Advantage my NUT recommended Unjury from whom I also orderd a sample packl. I liked the Nectar this morning a nice fruity change from the EAS Advantage Chocolate drinks I've been drinking for breakfast. I'm getting great suggestions from this site on foods. I ordered some PB2 (dried peanut butter) from Netrition and some dry roasted edamame. The edamame is great and I will include it in my arsenal as I go forward towards my surgery and after.

Depends on what you prefer, the BA shakes are pretty good but they are thick, sweet, and my post-op tastebuds rejected them.
I've tried and liked Nectar - Twizted Cherry, Fuzzy Navel, Roadside Lemonade, Strawberry Kiwi, Crystal Sky, and Orange and liked them all. Did not care for the lemon tea, peach, or fruit punch flavors.
I am also an Isopure fan...depends on your tastebuds.
Getting the sampler packs available is definitely a good idea, huge money saver. I haven't tried the BA shakes in a while, i might whip one up tonight to see if they're any better than they were one week post-op.
