wow, these boards really do help!
lol, so I posted in the Florida room about the insurance lady at the bariatric surgeon. Though I was nice enough I was not over the top friendly to her. I was told that with her kindness does the trick...
so last night I sent her an over the top email..." I know how extremely busy you are...blah blah but I am sure you realize how anxious I am..."
and guess what?? This morning, SHE EMAILED ME BACK. After weeks (okay so almost two weeks lol) of NOTHING from her NOTHING she got back to me when I went over the top nice. :D
So, she said that they are in the other office right now, that they would not be back until Tuesday but that she believes that my information was sent to insurance on Wednesday and that she would call me Tuesday with the details....
soooooooooooooooooo.......insurance "probably" has my info now. I am on my way..

Whatever works. Kill 'em with kindness.
Whenever I have a relative in the hospital, I always bring two wrapped boxes of candy with me -- one for the nurses on day shift, and one for the night shift. I print the patient's name on the top of the box -- "thank you for your great care signed XXXXXX."
I did this when I had my VSG -- took it in with me and right after getting to my room; had a nurse fi**** out of my bags. I got A+ nursing care, and lots of nurses coming by to say hello, and thank yous and can I get you anything.....
Sometimes kissing rear end is really really helpful.
