That's fantastic that you were able to have it and control yourself! I found that for me with my food addiction one bite is too many and a thousand are never enough. You are lucky you don't have that issue! Congrats on your success!

So happy for you! Before the sleeve, I didn't understand people who just stopped partway through a meal, or particularly dessert. For the first time in my life, I feel full and stopping is not an issue. I just do. I have risked ice cream or sorbet a time or two, and, it's fine! I too threw away half a small cone of Dairy Queen. Did not compute. As I told my husband first trip through our local little gourmet market 10 days after the surgery, "I think I see a more subdued relationship with food in my future". And I was right.
