No... Sorry if I implied it can do meat also.....no meat in a mandolin slicer.

Oxo makes a nice handheld one for like $15.00

Other larger ones come with optional blades to do other kinds of cuts.

This one is right up my alley, too! How did you grill it without the fish falling apart, Frisco? I just bought myself a mini charcoal BBQ to use on the deck at my apartment but am afraid to do anything except shrimp and veggies-- I fear the fish will flake apart/fall into the coals.

What's your tip?

PS- I absolutely LOVE my mandoline slicer. Dangerous, yes, but nothing says loving like a big ol' veggie fry-up made with awesome thin cut veggies.

- Clean grill grates

- Oil on paper towel and oil grates right before putting anything on it

- Right after placing fish on grill......slide the fish back and forth .....repeat after about a minute.....so fish doesn't stick to grill.
