Hey guys -

I know I promised you all the story of my jounrey, getting sleeved with Cirangle, which happened about 48 hours ago now. I need a bit more time though, I'm on too much medication at the moment to think clearly and stay very awake.

So please give me a few moer days.  Overall, I found it challenging but positive.

Hope to meet some other Cirangle patients tomorrow at the Sacremento support group!!

I wish I could make the meeting tomorrow, but they changed the date on us and I already was committed. Maybe next month.  Hope your recovery goes well.  It took me about a month to really feel good.

I just wanted to add: I slept in my recliner the first week because I was uncomfortable when I lay on my back and tried to sleep. Try and sip as much as you can. I kep****er and protein dink next to me and tried to alternate between. I must have had a lot of swelling (Dr C had to remove a bunch of adhesions from a previous abdominal surgery) and I could not drink much for awhile. At 2 weeks, I added cottage cheese and yogurt and a little soup. I had no appetite for a long while, so I stuck with liquids mostly. Take your pain med if you need it. Most everyone has different levels of pain, and there is no reason to be in pain after stomach surgery.

Get lots of sleep and sip and walk. Other than that, let your body heal. Happy healing.
