May 2011 Sleevers (Almost) weekend check-in!
I've been really slacking with posting these check-ins for all of us May Sleevers-- sorry, ladies and gents! Thanks for Soldier's Wife who posted one the other day. :)
How is everyone doing today?
I'm having an "off" day-- I woke up bright and early with plans to try zumba for the first time at 9am... but that blew by as morning nookie surfaced, so I thought heck, sex is exercise too!
But then I had all these other plans... run errands, get to the post office, do laundry (I literally have NO clean clothing for work on Monday and have a busy weekend planned), make appt for a car inspection, etc etc etc.
10 hours later and I haven't done ANY of that! I was so exhausted that I took a nap from 2pm-5pm!! I did go to the gym last night after work, but really wanted to get in some exercise today and now it's storming with a tornado watch and I don't want to go out. I think I'm going to try to watch tv and do resistance training in my bedroom for awhile.
I did wash all my dishes and prepare 3 servings of measured out tuna for the rest of the weekend for easy meals... and now I'm defrosting scallops for dinner. And I do plan to wash my scrubs tonight, so I guess I can kinda recover in the productivity department, but I just feel kinda "blah" ya know? Maybe it's PMS.

I'm doing pretty good....I'm losing weight and inches steadily...I am exercising a lot....and am getting strong and fit.
My only complaint is that eating is not fun at all....most things don't sit great...and I can eat so little, I feel like...what is the friggin point of making something...so I stick to protein shakes, tuna, turkey chili, and string cheese and crackers for the most part...not much variety, but better than a stomachache.
But life is still infinitely better now! I can do so much....I have loads of energy...I can cross my legs, and I am very bendy... LOL...I can climb stairs... I can wear normal size clothes....I am liking my reflection in the mirror....and yes, Crunchy, sex definitely counts as exercise and that is so much better now too.... LOL....

I'm a couple days late, but as of yesterday I'm down 68.5 lbs! In addition to that I started couch25k this week and did my second run yesterday. Amazingly I really kinda like it. We'll see how the rest of it goes... But overall doing well.
Still fighting to get in liquids, calories and protein. But that is getting better as time goes on.

Things are going pretty well here I'm still working out 3 times a week. I'm pretty happy with where I am as far as weight but it has slowed down some. Getting close to being the smallest iv been in many years. My sister took me shopping I bought some shirts in large and xl and some jeans in size 14 and 16 I couldn't believe they even fit me. I almost cried. I still have some days where I struggle with water or protein or both. My only real complaint is that I am losing a little more hair in the shower..... kindda scary hope it doesn't get to bad.
