I am taking my two children to Michigan Adventure next Friday the 12th.  I will be 4 weeks out from my sleeve and starting soft foods.  Any suggestions as to what you think I could eat while we are at the park??  I know what I can do for breakfast and I will be taking my protein.  I'm just not sure about the rest of the day.  Thanks for the input!!

I got myself a good insulated bag and put 2 of the
freezer packs in it and take along food and water
wherever I go, this way I don't get caught without
my food and I can go out for the whole day.
You can puree tuna, chicken salad, take cottage cheese
or yougurt - for a suggestion. Don't forget to take your spoon & fork. Hope this helps
Sometimes I take 2 meals with me.

Get used to having a small "ice chest" and bring what you need. Your protien is better cold and your tiny meals will be cold with the protein.

DON'T EAT FAIR FOOD!

Four months out? Are you going to find yogurt or ground lamb at the event? Get used to making a vitamin packet every morning along with your meals for all day and don't go out without them. I am 1 year and 4 months out. I lost 40 more lbs than I thought  I wanted (120 lbs total). The key is to never stop measuring/ weighing your food and never be out of the house without your pack of food, protien and vitamins.

I saw that someone lost 30 lbs in 4 weeks and damn if I didn't make that my first goal. I made it. Ebven the day before I really dindn't think I would.... Keep in mind your best weight loss will before 1year out. Exercise like crazy! I was walking about 1.5 miles per day by surgery and WII Fit plus twice a week. I stopped for the standard healing period short of walking my "gas" off. Then I realized that if I didm't get the weight loss within a year, I was f'd. I actually hit goal in less than 6 months. I walk 2.5 miles per day and do the wii fit 1 hour each weekend day and sometimes 20 minutes on top of the walking.

People talk about the extra skin, and I just don't have it. A little wrinkle here and there as I am over 50, but if I had done this pre 40, OMG, it would have ALL been back. EXERCISE! EXERCISE! EXERCISE!

Don't eat fair food!

Take the food you need to eat in a cooler.
