Hmmm...  I wonder if I could add this to my morning nonfat latte, without it clumping up...

Now that I think about it, maybe I'll skip the latte, and just have regular coffee with this in it?  It looks YUMMY!

I cannot tolerate hot coffee in the summertime, and in the wintertime, I drink out of a big ceramic mug, and the mug turns the coffee cold fast, so I brew my coffee the night before and when its summerytime, I put it in the fridger, but when its winter I just leave it on the counter.

I have these little 8 ounce Ball freezer jars, and when I get my "tomorrow food" together in the evenings, I put 1 scoop in each of my little 4 Ball jars and have it on the counter with my protein scoops in it.  So when its morning coffee time, I just put some coffee in the Ball jar, jiggle it around until its liquid, then pour in cup, then pour coffee into it.

When its winter, I do the same, except, I scoop a little coffee from the nuked coffee into my protein liquid concentrate (to temper it, like you do when you put eggs into a warm thing you are cooking) and then pour all of that into my coffee cup!  Works like a sharm!!

Then when its not coffee time, I just take my little Ball container, open, put a few oz of water in, shake it and chug it.  No point in breaking out the bullet if its just for a shot of protein supplement a half hour before Real Food (my favorite dish!  :} )

I know my NUT says to not worry about calories but...

Isn't 4 scoops of powder a lot of calories?  From the website, I see that the toffee stuff has 130 calories per scoop!!  If I get 520 calories from powder, that leaves me so little for real food!

Oh, I am not telling YOU to use 4 scoops.  I am saying *I* need 4 scoops a day to have low normal protein levels.

And YES, it is a LOT of calories, which is why building up muscle has served me well, because you see 500 of my freaking calories a day are non negotiable drinks, which do NOT touch my hunger.  I need F U D for my hunger, but I need 3 to 4 shakes a day for nearly decent protein leves.

:)  Thanks!  I am going to start trying to replace my latte with protein & coffee... we'll see how it goes :)

patience whippersnapper!

I didn't lose ALL signs of physical and head hunger till I was 10 months out!!  Im like...so that's what everyone is talkin about   ...where I gotta REMIND myself to EAT!! 
Normal me! always late to the party!

 I would time myself even....every now and again...I'd test...wait for a SIGN....into 6 hours...Im like this is too fricken SCARY I better EAT!! even tho I didn't WANT TO! It felt like Im on Phen-Fen again without the side effects!

It stays with ME for BIG CHUNKS of TIME...then...wans...then comes on again. Its ON AGAIN

We're all SO IMPATIENT!  I sure was..but never really posted about it...just sat on the sidelines... while everyone "bragged" about this event ...some into a month post op! Twert me ...but ITS ALL GOOD!! 

I just want ya to be PATIENT!  Keep yer mind n body distracted with LIFE

:)  I will DEFINITELY post if/when my hunger goes away...  I am happy/sad that my morning hunger went away.  The sadnes is because now it's darn hard to choke down breakfast food...
