The "big milestone" stall!
This is a weight loss PSA!
Yes, there are a 1,000+ threads on stalls. This is not the typical post I promise.
For those of you that just had surgery or are very early out, yes there is the 3 week stall BUT there is also the stall that shows up when you mentally have a number you want to get below.
For me that number was 200 pounds. (like many others). I think I was last at 190 anything around the time that New Years 1999 (crossing into 2000****ured. I remember I was taking classes at the time and I was working a 3rd shift job. In the prior months I had dieted (starved) down to 155 or so. I had left a job around May-June of 99 and my weight quickly started to climb. I DID go to Weigh****chers sometime around 2002 and I almost got below 200 but I quit WW and the weight went back up.
Anyway, I said all of that to basically say to stay the course and don't get too worked up about it. My weight was 206 on July 24th and it took a whole damn month to get below 200!.
The scale will sometimes make you want to beat the thing with a hammer!. So use a tape measure!.
