One week out and in ICU

  I don't know about the others who have posted...but I'm gonna do exactly as the doctors tell me.  --that story scared the crap out of me...

Yeah, she didn't sound like she was making it up.  Especially, when she added the bit about him being intubated.  Given that most of us were RNY in the room, I would have thought she would have done a scary RNY "story" if anything.  Regardless, like you I'm going to do what they tell me.

I'd hate for someone to think they could take a chance and eat solid food that early after surgery.
