May Sleevers Checking In!
Hey all you May Sleevers! How are things going?
We're closing in on 4ish months and I hope all are doing well!
I'm thrilled to announce that I broke the 200 lb mark and have officially been in the 199's (199.0-199.8) for several days now!
Also to note is that my first 5K is going to be on Saturday 9/17, the day before the Meet-N-Greet that I'm organizing! Wahoo!! I've gotten together a team of work friends to jog/walk/run/cheer with me and I'm super excited about that as well!
How is everyone else hanging in?

I'm doing good. I've lost 48 lbs. since surgery on 5/17. I'm more than half way to goal, with 39 lbs. to go. That will put me at 135 and a BMI of 21.8.
I'm off my blood pressure meds and my cholesteral med. Yahoo!!!!! My feel still hurt, but not like they did before. I'm 54, so maybe that is only going to get so good. I still have a knee that acts up too.
I get my protein through food almost every day now. I have to have two snacks a day (Soy Latte in the morning and usually a cheese stick in the afternoon).
I'm working out 6 days a week, 30-45 minutes. I plan to start a body pump class and a body sculpt class in the next week or so, so for two days I will get 1 hr. in.
My energy has still not returned to pre-op level, but it gets better as time goes by.
Overall, I thank my lucky stars every day. I feel great and I haven't had any complications. And I still have hair :-)

Doing well! I hit the halfway mark on August 26th. Hoping to hit the 100 lbs down this week or next. Still struggling to find time to work out between school and work but doing the best I can.
Energy isn't quite where it should be but that will come with time I hope.
Congrats to everyone on all their success! You're all doing great!

I'm doing Okay. I have been morning the death of my 21 year old daughter who had a fatal Skydiving accident on June 17, 2011 followed by the passing of my mother 4 weeks later. I have not been following a plan. I do what I can for now. I lose a couple of lbs. then stall for a while. I get my water and vitamins in and the rest is a blurr. I'm glad everyone is happy and doing well.
