how long were you in the hospital?

Apparently, I will be in for one day...then in a hotel for two days since I live two hours away.

I was expecting two days in the hospital and two days in a hotel, but oh well..I will be more comfortable at the Hilton and my hubby and I are both nurses so we know what to watch for.

What about you all?

1 night in the hospital.

Went in Thursday at 6 o'clock  in the morning and went home Friday at Noon.

two nights went in mon a.m. and home noon on weds.  glad you guys are med pros though!

I could have gone home after the first night, but decided to stay one extra night because I was EXHAUSTED!

 I went in at 9 in the morning, and was released at 7 the next night, I honestly felt like I could have used one more night in the hospital but my doc said I was good to go.

The plan was 1-2 nights... generally that is what my doctor does.

I had complications and ended up with surgery again the next day... so I stayed 5 days... the last day was probably just my doctor being overly cautious though...

I went in at 9 in the morning (surgery at 11) and I left right after lunch the next day.  I was soooo ready to get home too! :)  Best wishes to you!

I went in on 8/22 @ 930am and was out on 8/23 by 2pm.  I could've also used an extra night because to "me" the 3rd day/night was the worst.

one night in hospital but didn't get dismissed until late the next day. i could have departed sooner - felt fine - but doc was late getting me sprung. i live 7 hours away so we stayed one night in a hotel near the hospital and then traveled back the next morning. it was totally fine. I had asked for anti nausea meds as I tend to get car sick so I had plenty of drugs for that and was totally fine. So I think your plans are good. you could probably stay only one night if you'd rather get home. Diane
