My ring no longer fits...
Several years ago my boyfriend and his three sons bought me a beautiful ring for Christmas. It has three diamonds in it. One for each of the boys. The boys now live in Arizona, so this ring helps to keep them with me. As of today, this ring no longer fits me. It falls off when I shake my hand. My boyfriend and I are not together at this time. We have been trying to work it out. So this even makes it more sad to me.. When I told him today that the ring no longer fits...He said the sweetest thing. He said, the boys and I are so proud of you and everything you are doing to make you healthier. So will just have to buy you a new ring !!!
I love all four of my boys !!! :)

That was a really sweet post. It sounds like you have some nice boys there.
I read the other day that we don't need to resize our rings until we get to maintenance. Just go to a pawn shop and buy a thin ring that fits (costs anywhere from $10 - $25 bucks. It'll hold the floppy ring on our finger until we are skinny. Cool idea, hey?

that was a very sweet story, you should be so proud of your loss as your boys are. and the prospect of new jewelry will be a nice reward for your hard work.
make sure you put the ring somewhere safe until it can be resized, it breaks my heart when the ladies come on here telling us they lost a very sentimental ring cause thier fingers got skinny!

Very sweet. If it were me, I wouldn't want a new ring--I'd be attached to the old one. I'm not normal jewelry-wise, I know. Anywho, take the ring to a jeweler! See about a temporary "filler", and then get an idea if the ring can be resized once you're close to goal. I went ahead and had my wedding ring re-sized, even though I've got a ways to go. I didn't want to live without it.
