"Less Cushion For The Pushin'" and Other Assorted NSVs
Between closing on a new home, helping to get my mom packed and moved piecemeal into that new home so that I can move into her house before my vacation the 3rd week of October, starting graduate school, taking on a second job one day a week, trying to plan a wedding, getting prepared for my very first 5K which is this Saturday, and trying to organize a Metro NY area Meet-N-Greet for this Sunday, I haven't had much downtime at all, let alone time to really dwell on my Scale Victories and Non Scale Victories... but these are a few of both that happened while I wasn't really paying much attention during the last 3 weeks:
1. My fiance told me the following: "Your tuchas is smaller... there's less cushion for the pushin' back there, babe."
2. A regular bath towel fits around me (but still not one of those eeny weensy ones at the gym-- they're so small) and overlaps and everything, and none of my parts hang out!
3. I broke 200lbs officially and have been in the 195-196 range for a couple of days now. :)
4. I literally have almost nothing to wear-- one pair of size 16 pants that I can now pull up and down without unbottoning and every top I own hangs on me... and these are my "smaller" size XL tops that I had previously gotten to bit to fit into! I went to KMart to clear out their clearance summer tops and bought a ton of tank tops in size M and S for $3.99 apiece... a few of the M's already fit me and will work for my vacation next month and the rest will fit shortly!
5. I completely skipped the 7th belt hole and now find myself trying to push past the 8th belt hole. Thank goodness the belt is pretty much all belt holes all the way around or I wouldn't have a belt to keep from losing my falling-down pants, either!

What great NSV's! LOL @ the cushion!!
I did clearence shopping last winter for this winter! I bought 3 different warm coats and some sweaters for dirt cheap. 2 of the 3 coats I bought work, size M. The one doesn't work more because of the style.
