May Sleevers Checking In!
We're closing in on about 4 months here give or take and I wanted to check in with you all.
I'm doing well-- had a bit of a lapse in exercise last three weeks except for the awesome 5K I did this past Saturday... but I'm heading to the gym in 10 minutes to get right on back on my exercise wagon. I've really missed it these last few weeks but found that with picking up ****ton of overtime at work and starting on my grad school classes something had to give. I think I'm finding my balance now though, which I'm going to use to my advantage and spend some time back working on my fitness.
I'm down just about 60 pounds... wi**** was more, but when I think of how much I've accomplished so far, I realize it's A LOT and I feel really proud of myself.
Cooking has become an adventure and something that I've always loved to do... only now, finding low carb ways to do it is like a big challenge or puzzle for me to solve, which I'm really enjoying.
How are you all doing? Any challenges coming up your way? What have you found that works for you lately?
Trying to get caught up with school, work is finally settling down a bit, at least until holiday****!
As far as post surgery stuff goes... Finally getting closer to calories (about damn time!), consistently getting in my liquid****ting protein most days as well. AND... Made century club Saturday!!!
All in all I'm doing well. Hope everyone else is doing well too!

It goes slowly here, but good....
I got quickly down 50 lbs, and now have been fighting for every oz. for the last month or so (I think I have lost about 2 lbs in the last month :( ). I think it's because I am at 155, which was my "set-point" from the time I was 14 till I really started getting heavy after college.
I know 155 sounds pretty good to many, but I am 5"1, and I really still need to lose 30 lbs. I haven't been going to the gym so much (my bad), but have walked at least a mile, often two, every day, so I'm not a total schlub, either.
For the last few days, I have gotten heavy on the food journaling, in hopes that it will help the scale start moving again. I'm in a size 10-12, and looking pretty good, but damn-it, I refuse to believe that this is the best I can do.
As a side note, Em, you are looking fantastic in your pic!
I'm only 4'10" tall and the lowest I've been was 110lbs back in 1990's. Was usually active taught dance and love to run. Now I built up to running couple miles 5 times a week along with weight training the rest of the time.
Look at me rambling on...
Everyone is looking great!! Keep rockin that sleeve!!
