It seems everymorning, the first thing I drink causes me to have a sour tummy, it passes and it seems once the day gets moving, the sour feeling doesn't return.

I've tried several different things to drink in the morning from just straigh****er to my fav protien drink.  All seems to lead to a sour tummy for the first 15 minutes of my first meal/drink.

Is this common?  How soon until this passes?

I don't feel like throwing up or anything, just an unsettled feeling, sour is the best way to describe it.

Do you take a PPI or an acid reducer?  That might be helpful

Yes, I do take a PPI.

I take it every night about an hour before bed time.

I'm also thinking PPI (Nexium, etc)...? Or a Tums?
It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.
