Support Groups

So I decided at 11 weeks post-op that I would attend my first support group today over lunch at my surgeons office. I quickly realized that most of them had either had the band or the bypass. Do those of you that attend your surgeon's support groups find the same thing? I love my OH family and the support I get on here, but sometimes it is nice to have that face to face interaction. I just don't know enough about the other surgeries to feel like I could benefit from the group or that the others could benefit from me. I'm going to give it another try, because realisitically I feel that I should try things a couple of times before I make a decision. What do you guys think, anyone else experienced this?

At my BSG ( Bariactric Support Group) there are mostly sleevers there and few RNY`s

which support group do you attend in the KC area? I attend the one at St. Luke's and there are about 4 of us sleevers there.
