surgery october 18
Everyone is different, but I handed my purse (phone and all) to my mom and walked into pre-op with the clothes on my back. I did just fine - I wasnt necessarily out of it, but it would have been too much to try and use my phone/ipad, etc. I didn't want to talk to anyone and i certainly didnt need any entertainment. I didn't feel like i needed chapstick or anything like that. Im sure PJs/gowns from home would have been nice, but the nurses said no anyways (and im pretty sure some people saw my ass in the hall way cause i was too sore to gather up my oversize gown lol)

2 pairs of PJ's, underwear, fuzzy socks, robe, Immodium, Gas-X Strips, Metamucil, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Hair Brush, I-pod, Chapstick and lotion
