Looking in the fridge for a feeding.......

I'm finding keeping an open mind about food groupings has been kinda fun......oh there have been stuff that doesn't mix well......no problem....your just throwing out 3oz. of food!

Heated up Ground Beef Medallions (Burger Patties) 1.5oz each. over Heated up Tomato Basil Soup (Trader Joes from a Box) for lube. Finley chopped Cold Cabbage Salad dropped on a hot meal......

Was good !!!! (Ate most of it)

 i would never have thought of tomato soup, great share.  you're cut up veggies always look so fabulous.

I like the different uses with the tomato basil soup. 

Do you sweeten your cold cabbage salad or marinate it in anything?  I'm thinking this looks really yum and the cabbage salad would have the crunch I need in my meals!  Thanks for sharing.

This one is soooo basic.....and good....

Spray EVOO, pinch of salt, pinch of garlic powder, pinch of black pepper......(another fav of mine is adding a few pinches of Colemans Hot Yellow Mustard Powder)

The Trader Joe's soup is a little sweet....no doubt sugar.....

So in that one meal....I'm getting....sweet, savory, salt, sauce, meat and crunch......

Oh my, you had me at hot mustard powder..lol....I love the bite it gives and you are right, the combination of flavors would make this a great "go to" meal any time.  Will put this on my to try list.  Might have to try the cabbage alone, that sounds so good right now.
