Speaking at pre-op seminar tomorrow morning.!!!

I'm speaking at my surgeons seminar  in the AM.  I'm very nervous.  I don't speak well in large groups.  They asked me to bring pictures, so I have them ready.  Have a cute outfit ready to go...I'm still not sure what I will say.  Wish me luck...

You will do great!! I find when I am speaking about something I am passionate about or know well it comes naturally.

Good luck!  Just tell your story and they'll ask questions.  I'm so glad you are talking about the sleeve - in my surgeon's groups, most talk about the bypass and the band.  I can't wait til I'm further out to talk about the sleeve, though I hate speaking to groups, too!

I also participate in my surgeons practice for their seminars. I will tell you, its very rewarding experience. To look at the participants and to tell them, I was once exactly where they were, wonding if this surgery would work for me. It's amazing to inspire someone and pass along your knowledge and courage to them! Good luck.....just speak.from your heart and you will do just fine!
