Negatives post op....

1. I can't play drinking games like Flip Cup or Peer Pong
2. My knees poke each other while I try to sleep.

I did miss eating huge quatities, i was a volume eater also..but after a while the head hunger went away.

Positives..
1-1000- too numerous to count but they include: no more body pain, normal BP,being able to kayak, hike, climb, surf, shopping for whatever the heck I want

Regret: Not doing this years ago....

Positives: Waaay more energy, feel great, clothes are cheaper, no more wide width shoes, sleep better, (except when my knees bang together!) enjoy life so much more, can go horse back riding, went hiking, no more walking with a cane, can fit in restuarunt booths, can fit in turnstyles, not the biggest person in the room anymore...... just goes on and on....

Only downers is not being able to drink fast, 3-4 big sips is my capacity. Getting a ****tail and if i don't fini**** before dinner not being able to. My hair loss kind of sucks right now, but I know its only temporary

The upside is in everything I do now...running up my stairs in the mornings instead of labouring up them, looking forward to going to the gym, Jr. Jeans! Choosing clothes because I like them not just buying clothes because they fit. More years with my kids God willing...

Ton's of possitives. I wish I had this opportunity when I was 13 so I could have had a better time in High school, of course then I was lower than what my goal is now!

I don't think you'll have any regrets.

I'm 6 weeks post op today.

1.  No regrets, but I do miss sweets.  Every time I try a bit I feel sick to my stomach...this is GOOD!  No negative effects yet, except my post op experience with anesthesia (very naseous and dry heeved for two days in the hospital...grrrrr)

2.  I don't have a long list yet, but people are noticing.  I bought my first pair of pants from NY&Co...it was exhilerating!  I thought I was losing slow, but I've lost 30% of my total excess since I started this journey and well over 20lbs in 6 weeks.

Hi!

No real regrets!  When i'm eating something yummy and i can't just eat all i want theen i'm bummed (it's the "oh, i can't eat like a "normal" person anymore), but i eat just about everything i ate before, just in smaller portions and as little junk food as possible (working on that).  i've been pleased with my weight loss and i feel great!!!  i'm not carrying around an 80 lb bag of dog food anymore!!!!

positives outweigh the negatives for me!!  Hope this helps!

1. I miss eating, i`m still fairly new but damn I do miss just being able to eat normal food. Thats what got me into this mess in the first place though haha.

2. See number one, haha, I dont need to eat very much, i`m lossing weight. I look amazing, I feel amazing.
The best feeling in my life was looking at the scale and seeing a weight I haven`t seen since I was a child. I`m tearing up just thinking about it. I am elated that in the near future i`m going to look in the mirror and see the person I`ve been fighting to be my entire life. I am starting to feel like a woman. It is unexplainable to anyone who hasn`t been through it, and those who have you don`t need to use words.
