I have a cousin who gave me like four bags of cloths when I had my Lap Band surgery over 4 years ago, these where all cloths that where too small for her and I think it bothered her that they fit me. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I see her she has to say loudly, in front of everyone "HEY, didn't I GIVE that to you" like I am some charity case that needed her cast offs.

So, yesterday at Christmas, she pulled it again and I took great pride (and I know, it was totally *****y) in saying "Nope, everything you gave me is WAY too big now, they all SWIM on me".

I felt bad after I said it, but after years of her making me feel "less than" it was nice to give it back a bit.

Good for you! People say things to you with no regard. Maybe she'll think the next time. You could always send her a bag of your too big clothes ( ok I'll stop)

You have NO idea how close I was to saying that to her, but thank God my brain realized just how mean it would be (she has gotten pretty big in the past few years) and stopped me before my mouth got out of control LOL
