May Sleevers Checking In

Hey OH family, I just wanted to check in on everyone!

So much has been happening in my life, but posting alot on these boards hasn't really been a part of it. I'm glad to get here and read when I can and post when I'm able, but I miss a lot that goes on here and just wanted to check in on all of my fellow May sleevers to see how everyone is.

I'm doing well-- still trying to work hard on losing weight, dealing with head issues, exercise and making the right choices when faced with stressful situations that would rather have a non-food emotional adjustment. My blood pressure is still improving and my fasting blood glucose is the best it's been in years though it's still not below 100.

How is everyone else doing?

Hey Crunchy, whas up. I was done in May and all is well here. Down 100+, doc has told me I may be getting too thin. My body feels to me like I could lose another 15 - 20 to become super lean. That would put me at about 160 - 165 which would be very thin but I still have bodyfat deposits that I would like to have gone.

I've been so crazy busy with work I have no time to come around here much right now. Hopefully that will let up somewhat after the New Year.

Hope all is well with you. Happy New Year!

Hi guys,

I'm doing well....I hit my goal weight and I am now trying to learn how to maintain it...I saw some big fluctuations in the last couple of weeks...and I am unsure what my body is doing, since I haven't changed my routines.

Like Svelte said, I am getting comments about getting too skinny, yet I have areas of body fat pockets, I'd like to see go...still fat on upper arms and lower belly, but I don't know if I can get rid of it, without being too bony in other spots...but I continue to try with weight training/cardio...I am concentrating on changing my body fat %. I'd like to get to 25%.

I feel it is much easier to eat now and can get in larger quantities so I probably need to be careful to measure when I'm unsure of the ounces.

I'm also wishing I had money for plastic surgery, since I could use some work.

As far as my health goes, it is fantastic. No high blood pressure, no diabetes, less migraines/headaches, less joint pain, less feet pain, less acid reflux, less IBS symptoms. And many other conditions improved or gone....No more prescription meds!

I'm very happy with my sleeve and glad I had the surgery.

Doing well, just trying to get through the holidays working every day on my food issues.

Started working out with a personal trainer about a month ago and love it, but need to do my homework more often!

Just got hired for a new job that starts in March after being a stay-at-home mom for the last 11 years, so I'm excited for all the changes in my life!
