I'm a size WHHHATT?

Dear Sleeve, thank you for this.... I figured I would be able to stretch out my wardrobe for a while. Last week I went to put on a pair of jeans that had the tags cut off of them, so I had no idea what size they were and they literally fell off, and I've been swimming in my shirts (mostly because I was afraid to go shopping). Last night I decided to finally bite the bullet and go to the store. I grabbed sizes 22 and 20 - all too big, 18, too big.. and then I held up with 16 like "yeah right, they won't go past my knees!" Wrong! They fit, and they looked nice too. I actually cried when I had them on, zipped and buttoned. It was such a weird/amazing feeling to see a "1" on the tag. As far as the shirts, I went from wearing a 4x  which I found out is a 24/22 to last night trying on a 0 which is a 12/14 and it fitting and looking nice. I know these are such a small things but it made me feel so amazing that I am actually doing this, and losing weight and on my way to becoming a more "normal" person. I just had to share my joy

Congratulations!  You are on your way.

I think many of us have had a tearful dressing room experience.  (And not because nothing fit, we just had a hard time choosing between all the "new" options!!!)

That's great!!!!!  Congrats!!!

When I was at the place you are I started shopping at thirft stores simply because in two weeks you will be down another  size or two...to keep me motiviated it helped to know my sizes were going down but I couldn't afford two or three new pairs of pants every couple of weeks ,but the baggy pants weren't working for me. And knowing they would end up in the "give away bag" in a month thirft stores were the answer for me!!

Again...WAY TO GO!!!!
