I have a new house so like many people here I am looking forward to working in my yard, outdoor activities and such.  The homeowners association where I live maintains a large swim park.  I am looking forward to swimming and not being too ashamed to take my shirt off when I get in the water.  I always swam in tee shirts before.

My goals for the rest of the first half of the year are to no longer be clinically Obese by Tax Day and By June first no longer be clinically overweight.

Lots of good ones here!

I am going to buy season tickets for the water park and take my daughter as often as possible.  Not only will I be able to rock a swimsuit without being self-conscious, but I will also be able to truck up all those stairs to the top of the slides without being tired and out of breath.

That's all I can think of, because summer here is similar to winter everywhere else -- when it's 115 out, you tend to stay inside instead of bask in the outdoors.  LOL

I am looking forward to Disneyland in Feb/March with my daughter.  The last time we were there, it was hard for me to get in and out of some of the rides, and my feet were pretty tired at the end of the day.

I am also looking forward to buying a couple of tickets to the Van Halen concert in June and rocking some sexy jeans and boots and feeling good about myself.  Now...  to find a date... but that's another issue.

Sundresses...  that will be nice, too.

And, once fall rolls around again (like Spring elsewhere), I should be in the financial and physical condition to buy horses for my daughter and I, which is a longtime dream that I have been working towards.

Wonderful post! Made me think, so here goes:

First and foremost is to just feel good physically and mentally! In addition.....

1. Spend lots of time working in the garden! I used to love my garden, but the fatter I got the harder it was to keep up. It's been almost 10 years since I seriously gardened. I moved three years ago and have done so little to my new garden, it's really pathetic. Yesterday I bought 10 bare root rose bushes for my garden. I'm looking forward to planting them soon.

2. Working out at the gym without my "fat anxiety". I had become so self concious that I haven't worked out in 4 years. Frankly, I couldn't even walk a mile without stopping last summer my feet, legs and back hurt so terribly. Now I'm up to two miles in 35 minutes and am feeling good. Am going to check out a new gym today that just opened by my house.

3. New Clothes - all new shorts and summer shirts. All my shirts from last summer are XL & XXL.

4. Go to Disneyland and not feel like I'm the fat guy sweating in the lines! I HATE THAT! I think everyone is looking at me sweat! (I'll probably still sweat, but at least I'll be the normal sized guy sweating! LOL)

5. I really want to be off my BP meds by summer. Already off the statin for cholesterol, but would love, love, love to be off the BP meds, too!

6. Hoping that my sleep apnea is resolved. It's very mild now. No CPAP, so I'm hopeful.

7. To either be at goal or be very close! I have fewer than 50 pounds to go at this point, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I am looking forward to going on a cruise with my wife and sister-in-law to Alaska and not worrying about the physical portion of climbing glaciers etc. I am also looking forward to doing a tandem sky dive when I am in onderland!

* Amusement parks--my friends always get season passes and are forever trying to get me to get one.  So on the weekends I have noone to hang out with because they are having rollercoaster goodness.  Welp, not this year! :)

*Bicycling--Mr. F and I bought cruising bikes this past Summer to be the cute hip couple.  I pictured us bicycling our way to our Main Street that has the antique shops and loading up our wicker baskets with findings.  When we attempted this, we made it three blocks before turning around and hopping in the car.

* Buying a cute swimsuit and not being ashamed of wearing it.  'nuff said.

*Paddle boats:  My legs are a ton stronger than what they once were and I will not get winded doing it.

Horseback riding.  We have a time share in the Pocono's and they have on sight horseback riding.  We always go visit the horses but I am always afraid to hurt them.   Also going to the Jersey shore and riding the sky ride with my kids and not feeling like I am going to fall to my death. Biking is on the list too.  Even my husband wants to look for some bikes for us and hit some of the great trails we have around here.  Bascially really looking forward to time with my kids and my family being active.

Ahhh... horse back riding.  The last time I did this was years ago.  The family was on vacatiion coming back from Florida (to Michigan) and we stopped at Gatlinberg, TN.  Found the most wonderful horseriding place where a guided ride up through the mountains only cost our family of 5 $100.  I just barely made the weight limit.  All the normies got normal horses, but me and the fat hubby had ginroumous horses- the kind that pull the budweiser wagon in the commerical.  Ok, a little mortifying.  As this poor creature was trying to cart my fat a$$ up the mountain I swear to the good Lord above it kept trying to commit suicide.  It's hooves kept sliding off the trail an off the side of the mountain- talk about scary!  It was still a beautiful ride and once next Fall and cooler temps roll around I think for my anniversary I would like to go back and do that ride again, just a lot lighter and without the suicidal ginormous horse :)
