Reference to Pics Post yesterday!!!

Ok so I was feeling pretty good that I could finally see the difference in pics since I still see the same in mirror. I told my BFF to come look at my pics, she lives out of town. I gave her link to it and first comment was the pic where your wearing the old navy shirt is the new one right??? WTF do you really need to ask I thought. The she follows up with oh yeah I totally see where your face is much slimmer. OMG really I guess I lost 100lbs in my face. Total buzz kill

Guess from now on I'll keep my loss and pics to myself. Kerry

I am not taking away from your weightloss, I could see it plainly but I also don't know you. My husband says that he knows I have lost the weight and can see it somewhat but he never ever saw me in his mind as that big. He really didn't notice visually until I bought some newer well fitting clothing that shows my new shape. I am not small yet by any stretch but by wearing well fitting clothing the difference is quite more visual. I noted when I saw your photos that you were still in quite large baggy clothing so the face was really the only place it showed significantly. I know that it costs alot to get new clothing that will only fit for a few months but it made me feel so much better to have one thing that fit me and wasn't big and sloppy.

I am getting off point, what I want to say is our loved ones and friends see us for who we are and not how big we are, it is difficult for them to see the weight mostly because they never really saw it in the first place. Don't be too hard on your friend. Also if possible get a well fitting outfit (from thrift store or in the sales) it will make you feel so good to see a real difference.
