3 Weeks until daughters surgery!
It just crept up on me. That's 21 days. Then a flight to Mx.
I'm good with the surgeon choice. My friend and his wife went there about 3 months after me and they are happy and doing well too.
I've been talking to her, encouraging her etc. She's on her pre-op diet and doing well.
A few weeks ago she had a tube pregnancy that required emergency surgery but came out of it with flying colors. Done lapro, so really no healing time other than a week to be sure all was well. That was her first ever surgery experience. She tends to be afraid of what she doesn't know. So I plan to keep her home for a week or three (years lol) before letting her go back to her apartment. She will probably have to burn the apron strings (chains).
Yesterday she was complaining of some pain in the surgery area so went to the hospital just to be sure it wasn't anything. Cat scan shows nothing.
Surgeon cleared her for weight loss surgery for March 5th.
Now, as a mom, I'M FREAKING OUT!
I didn't worry this much about MY or my husbands surgery.
Please don't let anything go wrong....
Hoping for some support here.
I'm going to be a basket case till I get to the other side of this. (sigh)

It's okay to be scared/afraid. But you and I both KNOW she's going to absolutely wonderfully, she's your daughter. She's going to totally rock it! There's no doubt about it!

The same faith you used to get you threw it will carry it threw for your daughter. I know its diffrent when its your kids, but I beileve that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, thats all HE asks for..and you know its for her betterment or else she would be going threw this.. You know it in your head, you just have to let your heart in on it Good luck!
