Jen and Jimbos SoCal Road Trip in Pics
What an amazing ******g weekend!!! First off I must say I loved loved loved meeting all of you! What an awesome group! Im sorry we flaked out at dinner, Jims leg was so ******g swollen and a few drinks into happy hour and I was a hot little mess myself... Shocker right... Allison you did a WONDERFUL job getting everyone together. You made me proud girl and you look AMAZING! Okay so here goes it...
I will start with our exit from the good ole bay area... We left at about 2am... Which was way too early as we decided to go to the mall until like 10pm... FML...
Here we are on the road at 2am
\
I didnt make it too long before I was falling asleep. Had to stop for a catnap at some random gas station and a rockstar....

Then we were on our way across California...

snacks in hand of course...

And straight to "THE DONUT MAN" some Food Network inspired eats...
Then to primp and visit my Aunt..
And then on to the Meet-Up...

Then onto our Lazy Eve at the Hotel...

The next day we pigged out at the Buffet Breakfast... somehow without pics?!?!?! WTF and then onto a day with family and then we met up for a dinner at Northwoods in where we all three were able to share one amazing meal!

After dinner we hit the road back to NorCal... I ate too much so this is how I rode home...
But we didnt let that stop us from eating leftovers...
And uh, everything else...

Once the Rockstar Kicked in it was on... we danced all the way down the 5...

One of the nasty teenager we brought with us busted ass all the way back, we had to use my uggs as gas masks to survive the ride...

They were amused...

We made it home at about 11:30 and then celebrated our very eventful weekend with a lil drinky drink...

And the next day we felt like this.... Vicodin and protein shakes were our saving grace...

And this is the aftermath we found in the car on Monday morning...

We had a great trip! So much fun and something that would not be possible without the VSG! Thanks to everyone who came out and made the day amazing. I am going to start working on another NorCal Meet-Up at Vasona for late spring or early summer. One just like the last Vasona meet up...
Hugs, kisses and fruit stuffed donuts...

LOL Great Pictures Jen!!! It was great meeting you and Jimbo...
Those Donut Man pictures are comedy... I grew up and went to school in Glendora. Most of my friends still live in Glendora, La Verne, San Dimas area.. Every morning before school we would have to hit up the Donut Man stand in front of the long ass line in front of the window to get our twist. :P
Glad you guys made it home safe. Hope to see you guys again at the next event

First, I loved meeting you guys in person. Nice to see some of the weight loss poster children and find out they are really real! Those donut pics! OMG the strawberries- I could die! Of course today is the day I noticed I am officially a loser again. None to the wonderbits of fried dough crack for me for a long time. I get the need to indulge now and then to avoid a binge, especially in maintainence it make the future seem a little more normal. I hope this doesn't sound to wack, but seeing you at about my height, I can picture my goal self. I couldn't really do that before. Thanks for driving down and bringing Jim and Jen along. Count me in for Vasona. Now I need to google Vasona...
Your a 100% certified "Nut Job" !!!!!!!!!!
and Jimbo is about the same.......!!!!!!!
