I am so very irritable today.  I don't ever remember being so edgy or snappy.  Is this a phase?  Any others with this experience?

You just had a MAJOR TRAUMATIC insult to your body, not to mention the psychological stuff that comes with it. Just rest, relax, sip your water and follow your Doctor's plan.

Before soon you are going to be so happy you did this.

I'm right there with ya!!  I'm grumpy too...think it's the disinterest in the liquids any more and the fact that I'm wanting to feel better....just want this soreness to go away!!  Hang in there, I hear it'll pass!

I think this is pretty normal, especially considering you're no longer able to eat the food that you used to really enjoy and bring you pleasure.  You'll see people post a lot about this.  I think it's a natural healing phase as you deal with the fallout of not self-medicating with food that pumps up your serotonin levels.

Just push through it - and smile as much as possible. :D

Post-op weight loss releases hormones previously stored in fat cells.  The release of these hormones can, and will, cause mood swings.

It is similar to PMS mood swings, and is caused by hormone changes.

Many folks have posted about this result of rapid weight loss.  It will pass!

Good luck, and hugs,

Fred

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

Normal- hormones release from fat cells.  I was weepy and cranky on day 6.  It got better pretty quickly.
