surgery date!!!!

I'm mostly a lurker, but I wanted to share that I have my surgery date!!!

All paperwork was submitted to insurance on March 30, and I got a call yesterday from the surgeon's office saying I was approved and surgery is scheduled for April 30.  I can't believe the day is almost is here! 

My 2 week liquid diet starts on Monday.  Looking forward to finding a seat on the loser's bench with all of you!!!

Woo Hoo!!! This site is a GREAT place for advice and support. Quit lurking and get involved. LOL. I am excited for you. I am hoping to have surgery soon. I have had many "hiccups" with my insurance. I may self-pay for the sleeve in Mexico. Anyhoos..keep us posted on your progress and don't be embarrassed or afraid to ask questions.

That's awesome!!!  Congrats!!  I know I was excited when I got my date (4/24).  It will be here before you know it.
