I am doing my newly started "normal" walk around the lake :) About 1.5 miles. Nothing major, but it's a start :)

Great thread...let me know if you need help doing this (I can take certain days or whatever).

Today is walking (daily goal is 12,000 steps) and abs. I'm doing a challenge to build to 200 consecutive crunches over the next 6 weeks. Today's program calls for a total of 182 broken up into 5 sets.

Plan: lunch hour walk (leaving in minutes). Then hubs and I will take the Civil War Historical Trail from our Community to my daughter's school. This evening I'll do my crunches, either before or after the walk.

Yesterday we walked around Washington, DC and paddleboated on the bay in front of the Jefferson Memorial. Total of 15,300+ steps plus the paddleboating.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

OK, just broke 15,000 steps for the second day. Building up credits because I'm not going to get many the next few days. I'm getting the second in a series of 3 Orthovisc injections tomorrow and will be too sore to walk more than necessary for a few days.

Still need to do my crunches, as soon as my dinner digests a little.

 I walked 4.5 miles first thing  this morning.  I'm going to do a weight work this afternoon, then take another walk this evening.  Being currently unemployed, I'm using my time to get in lots of activity.

 Just came back from the gym. Did 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes on the tredmill.

 Did my 30 minutes on the treadmill.. going to the Dr for my first post op visit tomorrow and going to ask about pilates.. thinking about alternating between the treadmill and pilates to work other parts of the body.. hoping to minimize the bat wings before they start :)

Just 40 minutes of brisk walking for me today. I think I over did my workouts last week because I am still sore. I dont want to take a day off of exercising so I will just keep it light today.
