I feel like all I'm focused on is my mouth!!!

I haven't focused on food this much in my whole life. I'm 5 days out and I'm scared to death I'm going to get dehydrated so I seem to be obsessed with insuring there's some liquid in my mouth at all times. It's bizarre. I've never spent this much time or effort on food. Don't get me wrong, I've always been an obsessive calorie counter but I've never focused on holding a drink and having a drink every five minutes. I'm in fear of over doing it as well. Heck, I think I'm just crazy right now. Please tell me this is normal.

It is def normal!! I think it took me 3-4 months before I finally stopped stressing over when to eat/drink. After a while it becomes routine and natural. Hang in there!! It will get better!!

Don't worry!! That is a GREAT thing!! Staying hydrated at this point is the most important thing!! Don't worry about how much or how often. I know it can be weird, it's a lifestyle change, but like our friend said above, everything will start getting normal and balancing itself out. I would say you can't drink too much at any point in your journey!!

Take care :)

I'll be six weeks out on Thursday, and I feel like eating and drinking is a second full time job. Otherwise, I don't plan well and I don't get everything in!

It's normal to be completely focused like that, especially the first several days out or when switching to a new food phase, but try to not stress over it too much. Stress isn't good for a healing body.

I felt crazy for the first month. The last two months I feel like all I'm thinking about is my meal/drink routine.

Hoping it goes away soon.

It's fantastic if you can get all of your water in!
