Hello all,

I had my sleeve done over a month ago and I am having trouble eating. I cna drink okay but I am afraid I am eating to little. I am still on liquid as I can't get the the soft mushy food down (i am suppose to be able to eat pureed food).  Is this normal?

yes it's normal... your stomach will let you eat want it wants went it want to. I'm 6 weeks out and can still barely eat most foods but then there will be a random day that I will try something (like a hotdog and be able to eat the whole thing very slowly but then the next day I can't get down 2 or 3 bites of tuna salad or a scrambled egg with cheese?  You stomach is the boss right now experiment with different foods find out what it wants and likes. Until your fully healed it's gonna be touch and go. And that's what my dr said.

That sounds normal to me. Some people are able to go to mushies pretty easily, but for many of us it took a long time and in the interim we ate almost nothing.

Keep up with your protien and vitamins and water until your stomach heals well enough to handle mushies.

Before anything else - have you talked to your Doctor?

At a month out, you should be proceeding to mushies.  If you can't keep those down that would concern me.
