I'm still pre-op and I'm going out with friends tonight to celebrate my birthday, so I have my meal planned already, so I know how many calories I can have the rest of the night, but now I am bored and I am fighting head hunger.  I already took an hour long walk and I'm running out of options.  I'm thinking next I'm going to have to go shopping.

Head hunger is a *****! I find mine is better controlled when I avoid carbs. So even in maintenance, I find myself avoiding carbs to help control head hunger.

Distractions are also something that helps. Especially something outdoors away from food.

Hang in there!

If it's not too late--tonight, concentrate on talking and having fun, not the food and drink.

And happy birthday!

Take a nap!   Organize a closet!  Drink water!   Rearrange the pantry!   Clean out the freezer!   Do anything to keep busy.  If you are in Northern California you can come by my house and do any of these things!

I went shopping for about an hour and then got my hair cut, so that killed time.  I came home and ate cucumbers and greek yogurt.
