Down 100lbs in 7months.... with PICs!
I lost 100 freaking pounds!
Had the sleeve 10/14 (a little less than 8 months ago) with a SW of 300, and I just hit my first big scale milestone.... losing 100 lbs! My current weight is 200lbs, which corresponds with a merely "overweight" BMI.
I feel great. I ran a half-marathon in May, and although I didn't hve the fastest time or anything, I ran the entire 13.1 miles. I'm happily back into a size 14, so I can shop anywhere. The last time I bought a size 14 dress was for my senior prom!
I can ride in an airplane seat without discretely asking for an extender. My friends want to go to Cedar Point amusemant park, and for the first time in years, I can actually ride the rides.
Other aspects of life are going amazing... I'm more confident, and I see significant improvement in work opportunities, and in my love life opportunities based on my more confident attitide.
Dinner for me almost everyday is grilled salmon and veggies and I actually love it; I find myself developing good eating habits that I can (hopefully) keep for life.
Goals up next: I'm hoping to focus on fitness, and plan to do another 1/2 marathon and beat my time, do a triathalon, and join a CrossFit gym.
There have been setbacks... I'm pescetarian (I only eat fish, no pork/chicken/beef), so eating out is so hard, and I often wind up eating carby crap and feeling junky later. My hair feel out pretty massively around 3-4 months, but I'm getting new growth now. I lost so much weight my nice shoes and jewelry no longer fits (shoes had to go to goodwill and it broke my heart, at least the jewelry could be adjusted by a jeweler).
But, all in all, I feel good about my journey and can't wait to keep going!
