I didn't measure regularly so I couldn't tell you.  I was wearing the same clothes until about my 6 week mark though.  After that it was a lot of sweats nd belts until about 5 months.

In my experience, the sizes change much more slowly at higher weights.  I started at about 290 lbs and it was at least 30 lbs before I started to feel my clothes were too baggy (first they had to at least fit properly before getting baggy!) and 40 lbs before I was comfortable in a smaller size.

But now, at 194, I think I'd go down a size just about every 10-15 lbs.

It's probably your brain - this happens to almost all of us. Once we start losing losing weight quickly, there's a lag on how we see ourselves and we think we are still bigger than we really are.

If you've lost 50 pounds, you are probably ready for the next clothes size down but just don't believe it yet. Like you said - your clothes are baggy now so  you are ready for the next size. Give some shopping a try.
