Plastic surgery update

Yea, you can have a tummy tuck without the ab stitching - but why??  It's ususual to forgo it.

The butt lift was more than skin removal - just like an panniculectomy is just skin removal and the TT is a reshaping, the butt lift too is a reshaping.  Not only did he remove the excess draped skin, but reformed it to give a natural, human appearance.  Also, he increased the thickness by using back tissue from above my waist folded down.  It's hard to describe.

So glad to see your new post and that you are feeling better. It is encouraging to hear how you are dealing with the pain. I am just doing the TT, do you think I will need someone to stay with me? (((HUGS))) to make you feel better.

Very possibly - it depends on the type and severity of TT you have.  You may or may not be able to get in or out of bed on your own.  I'm sure the folks in the Plastics forum could help you out more.  Also, it was terrific to have someone dress and sterilize my wounds while I was in la-la land.

It's weird... I read the plastics forums, and some TTs are like "no big deal, no pain at all" and other TTs are "this is the worst pain in the world and  I need a walker to get around".  The diversity is crazy.

Ruggie! Glad to hear an update from you! Hang in there my low tolerant pain friend... this will be a distant memory soon and then you'll be sportin' the most sleek body in the neighborhood.

And where's my fitbit? You said to ask questions! Ok, ok, I kid, still no rush. But I am still running and sticking to my workouts.

Speedy healing to you!

Omg!!!!  I can't believe I've totally forgotten to send it out!  It's been gathering dust on my desk. I'm really sorry. I'll sen it as soon as I'm portable enough to make it to the post office.

Thanks for your well wishes.

You have in idea how my much I'd love to go shopping right now. But everything is screwed up. First, the inflammation has pants tight on me that used to be loose. Second, I'm not sure I can try clothes on alone right now!  I need a bit of help with sleeves and pant legs - especially the pant legs.
