I love your hair and am sure it will look lovely in green...although I'm thinking positive thoughts that it won't turn on you. The pool sounds awesome.

The pool is my saving grace, keeps the kids occupied and keeps me cool enough to not kill them LOL It wasn't green this morning, so I am hoping I am in the clear

OMG, I know what you mean!  I have a set of headphones that completely got ruined by sweat while running.  Running without a good beat seems so much harder.  Its been really crazy hot here too.

I can't commiserate on the green hair - But I did have a bad perm once in college (trying to make my hair look thicker).  Red stripes around my head and the whole electric poodle look.  My mom did once rock the green and grassy look when trying for short and sassy at home.

All I can say, is keep it going, running 5 miles is AWESOME and gives me a goal to keep reaching for.  So take a look behind every once in a while and keep encouraging us slow pokes on!

HA, not only running without a beat, but I had to listen to my own hitching and panting b/c I could just not seem to get my breathing under control as I was breathing in all that soup! It was a bit discouraging to say the least LOL

Ah, you will be at 5 miles before you even know it, I am shooting for a 10k by the end of August and I just don't want to come in dead last LOL

The beautiful thing about 5k's is that you get a lot of people who walk, so even at my crazy slow pace I have never come in last LOL

That stinks! I hurt myself lady week so this week I'm just biking. But this morning it was just too hot even at 0530 so I just did an hour plus on the elliptical.

Sorry baby, you sound like a win, win to me all the way around.  Complaining about running and then doing it!
You rock in my world.  And it is so much better than the alternative eating to death activity, would you agree?

I ran in the heat after work today!  I should have run this morning BEFORE work but it was drizzling so I decided not to.

I hope your hair doesn't turn green.    But if it does, just go with it!!
