So my time has finally arrived and I will be getting sleeved in 3 DAYS on July 2nd, 2012. I have to check in at 12pm and surgery will be at 2pm. I have learned soo much in one year and I feel I am ready for this journey. Thank you to those of you who posted your stories, concerns, questions, advice and even just your opinions. I am excited but at the same time a little nervous, not of life after I am sleeved but the feeling pain part. I would Love to hear any Words Of Wisdom and I would appreciate all the prayers I can get. Thank you. Gabriella

You are so ready for this! Being nervous is normal. Yes, you might have pain or maybe you won't time will tell. Take one day at a time! Listen to your body, don't worry if you lose slower then others, sip, walk, sip, sip, sleep, give your body time to heal. Follow Dr's orders, Welcome to the bench hoping you have a speedy recovery keep us posted!

It's pretty wild how you see people on this forum, on these boards, and tho you've never talked to em, maybe never directly replied to their post, remark...whatever... You've read them.
Glad your time has come, congrats. Many prayers

Many prayers and good thoughts to  you.  Just remember to walk and to stay hydrated.  Focus on liquids first, then protein.  You are on your way, good luck to you and see you on the loser's bench.
