I am sooo happy because.....

Congrats to all!  This is such an exciting time!  Isn't it fun to watch the lbs. go down instead of up!  I'm loving it!  I'm happy because my old fun self is coming back.  Before surgery, I didn't want to do anything or go anywhere or see anyone.  I was embarrassed that I'd gotten so big.  But now that it's coming off, my confidence is growing!  Can't wait to see what the future holds!

Congratulations!  I have been taking pills since post op with no problem.  my multivitamin is a gummy but all my others are capsules or enteric coated.  The only ones I REALLY hate to take are the Citracal calcium.  I take the petites and even they are big.  I am 4 weeks post op and feeling great with tons of energy and enthusiasm.  And so far I have successfully been around all kinds of foods and still have stuck to only what I am allowed to eat.  It's been difficult at times, but those around me are still allowed to have what they want and we have to learn to deal with that.  I am proud of myself and hope to continue to be successful.

I'm happy because I have water damage in my house and insurance is paying for a new bathroom!  W00t!

Also--I'm .5 from having lost 50 pounds!

I am happy because I have lost enough weight (20 ish lbs to go) that I can dance with my kids in front of a crowd and not feel like a fool. I just feel like a normal mom having fun with her kids. The depth of feeling just cannot come across from this statement..but here goes anyway: I feel free.
