YEAH!  If you can run 10 miles you can absolutely do a 1/2 marathon.  I got up to 8 miles before surgery, so I hope to quickly get back to that level when I can.  It's such a feeling of accomplishment when you're done.  Don't worry about speed that will come with time (says the world's slowest runner).

That's incredible!!!  I was on track last summer, but a foot injury took me out.  I need to go see my podiatrist again and start over.  So proud of you!!

C25K is short for Couch to 5K, it is a running program for beginners, it gives you a weekly schedule to follow where you run intervals with walking in between, you gradually increase your running time until you are doing a total of 3.1 miles!

very motivating!   i am trying to completely run a 5k instead of walk/running and its taking FOREVER.  tonight i did a 2 mile walk/run and alternated 90 seconds each.  i can only dream about a year from now being where you are and running 7 miles.  i'd be happy with 6!
congratulations!

I started off not even being able to do the 30 seconds in the first week, and I can't even tell you how many times I had to do weeks over before I could get it. The number one thing that I found out was that proper form, breathing, clothing and foot wear is ESSENTIAL! Once I got those things down the running came so much easier and I found myself being able to do things I never thought I could.
