I am still a newbie, but this surgery has changed my life in so many ways already.  Before I had my surgery i didn't go out,  all i did was work, ea****ch tv and sleep to do it all over again.  I didn't go shopping, I didn't go anywhere.

Two months after my surgery, I have a very active social life now. I go out with my friends almost every weekend, I work out everyday, I replace my obsesion with food with an obsesion with working out and the gym, I still don't like shopping but I am getting there, and now i am looking for a place on my own, I have a spring in my step.  The world is my oyster.

I am still learning this new way of living my life but so far I like it every much.  I have my freak out moments when I really feel like I am not losing weight and and I did all this for nothing and then I catch myself in a mirror or a store window and I do see my changes.

I cannot wait for the new changes in my life.

Since my energy has improved I can now phyically do the things I always wanted to do, like tackle the yard or go to the gym almost every day or join a couch to 5k group. I'm going to Europe next month and it is so good to know that I won't be "overdoing it" because my body can't keep up with my head in terms of walking a lot.

The pink cloud is good. :)

I completely agree. I am finally starting to ge my energy back after a slow recovery and I can't wait to "get out there".  So many new possibilities have opened up.

That is great that it has changed our life no only physically, but mentally and emotionally.   I also feel the increase in energey.  I want to spend every waking moment doing something that I could never do before.  Much success and luck with all your new wonderful changes
