Cheating vs. Choosing, there's a big difference.

Thanks for bringing this up-  I don't know how many times I see the word "cheat" and think that someone is setting themselves up for failure.  Choice and accountability is so much more rewarding to embrace than failure and shame.

What a great post and I totally agree.

Seriously, though, when are you writing a best-selling self-help book?? You have great things to share, even beyond the wls community!

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant  (yeaaaa!)  

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs.   (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

Excellent post, and I REALLY wish you'd post it on the Main board as well. It's something every obese or formerly obese person needs to hear.
