I went for my post op visit today and my dr. cleared me to move on to the next phase.  Soft foods!  Woo hoo!!!  I have tuna, chicken salad, babybel cheese, egg beaters.   Anything else anyone can recommend?  I'm 1/4 of the way through a babybel and feeling good.  Oh sweet soft food!  hahaha!   And down 19.1 lbs today!  Woo hoo!!

You go girl!!! I am going to see my doc tomorrow and am going to graduate too I hope. Its been ok on liquids and shakes, easier than I thought. This is the plan my surgeon loosely follows and it has examples of some soft foods. Some I won't eat because of too many carbs but some ideas are good.

Soooo much cottage cheese! And hummus. Soft scrambled eggs are a real treat if you can tolerate them.

Low fat cottage cheese and Cream of wheat were my favorites during that phase. I was also hooked on the Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I liked the Gerber meat sticks (baby food) too.

Awesome Weightloss so far!!

I loved the laughing cow cheese wedges too!! I also made Eggface's ricotta bake recipe and that was sooo good! Yogurts, cottage cheese, and lentils.

So refreshing to move to soft foods from liquids!

I think for certain I will be making a rich beef stew, blending it in a blender and eating it over mashed potatos.

Great idea...but I will do faux mashed potatos (carbs are a killer for me) with cauliflour.
