NSV and a Lesson for my Niece and Nephew

 Frisco,

what a truly heartwarming story. Not only is the NSV super cool but the lesson you taught them about giving cannot be replaced. When I had children I made it a point to ALWAYS give that dollar bill every time it's asked. My kids won't let me walk by someone now without donating, lol.  If they carry that same tradition into their lives and with their kids, we are making the world a better place and isn't that what life's all about?

PS I wish I had a cool uncle like you growing up! :)

Great job Friskey.

love this story. the best part is that you were able to get out and about and do stuff with the young ones and share your wisdom and fun self without having to sit down all the time or skip half of it or whatever. one cool uncle you are.    diane

Such a great story :)

I love that your niece and nephew learned something from you today, and that you were able to have such an awesome NSV to take away from the day as well.  It's always awesome to hear about people not thinking of us as fat... but when it comes from kids, who usually speak their minds... that's even better.

Sounds like it was a great day all around.  Thanks for sharing! :)

I loved the story, I didn't have a cool uncle so I consider your niece and nephew to be fortunate young people. It is great that you could spend the day with them and in the course of fun events, teach them a little about life just by being a caring person. Thanks for sharing the story with us, it is good to read about positive things.
